OPPO has been rumored to be preparing its first folding smartphone for a long time. But until now, OPPO still hasn’t announced the presence of the smartphone at a time when other brands such as Xiaomi and Samsung had made the first move.
Well, recently there was the latest leak from China which reveals that OPPO plans to launch its first foldable smartphone in November 2021.
Through a Weibo account called ‘Panda Is Bald (in Chinese)’, it was stated that the green company that was strongly suspected of being OPPO would announce a foldable smartphone.
“During the night, next month, the green company will launch a big product that comes with an 8-inch 120Hz LTPO screen that can be folded into the inside,” the Weibo account wrote.
In addition to coming with a 120Hz refresh rate screen, it is also mentioned that the folding smartphone will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 as its chipset.
Unfortunately, there is no information regarding the display to other features that will be present on the smartphone. We’ll be looking forward to more features and specifications when it is officially announced.
