As some persons will categorically call this bitcoin saga as "Physical MMM". According to the news reaching me from Nekede, Owerri, Imo State, a group of people stormed Nekede Community (Umuerim) close to the foremost Nigerian Polytechnic Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, Imo State, in Eastern Nigeria claiming they can trade in Bitcoin that can generate more than 30% of initial Investment in one week for the investors.
According to my source, the first few people who invested were paid after the one week period which lead them to spread the news to others who in turn invested their money, some 2,000,000 (two million) to 5,000,000 (five million), some invested 50,000 to 100,000 naira.
Waiting to cash out their profit after the one week, they woke up to the surprise of their life;
On Monday 22nd October, 2018, the office has close, when some of them tried to know why the office was closed they were told that the proprietor who went to the bank to withdraw money for the payment of investors was short by Armed Robbers in an undisclosed place. Meaning that all the investors have lost their money.
Further information revealed that the people made away with over N50,000,000 (Fifty Million naira).
