17 courses you can no longer study in Nigerian Polytechnics- Following the decision by the Federal Government to scrapped the award of Higher National Diploma, HND certificates in Polytechnics over 17 courses will no longer be studied in polytechnics once the new policy takes effect.
It would be recalled the Minister of Education, Prof Adamu Adamu while speaking with Journalists about the new development, asserted that any programme that is not technical will be scrapped out of the polytechnics system.

About 70 percent of polytechnic graduates are in the non-technical courses. It is going to be a rigorous implementation programme.With this new policy, some of the non-technical courses that are being offered in Nigerian polytechnics that will be scrapped once the new policy takes effects are itemized below;
