Updated List of Nigerian States With 4G/LTE Network Coverage | as at October, 2017

In this post, I will be showing you all the states in Nigeria with 4G/LTE network coverage. While some states are still struggling to use 3G network, some network service providers have spread their 4G/LTE network accross some cities, and some individuals are already enjoying the 4G LTE network in the country. 


In Nigeria, 4G LTE network was first introduced by new Network Service Providers in the likes of Ntel, Smile, Mtn-Visafone and Swift 4G. Sooner than expected, the likes of Airtel, Spectranet, Glo NG and 9Mobile joined the moving train to launch their own 4G LTE network in Nigeria, though you must buy a router or modern to get 4G services from some of the names mentioned above while others like Mtn-Visafone, Ntel and Smile do sells only Sim cards.

So if you want to know the states in Nigeria that has 4G network coverage before buying a 4G SIM, Mifi or Dongle, you are in the right place, I will give a run down of states and cities in Nigeria that has MTN-Visafone, Ntel and Smile 4G network coverage.

The 4G lite service from MTN covers almost all the states in the country as they already had the facilities in place as well as those they acquired from visafone.

SMILE 4G LTE
Smile is really doing a good job. They have good coverage in most known states in Nigeria. Below are the eight states in Nigeria that are covered:
