Nokia 2 Launched With 4100mAh Battery and Splash Proof IPS Body

In the history of Nokia this seems to be the cheapest Nokia device ever launch with enticing specification. The Nokia 2 was finally launched today at an event in India.

The device is made out of a 6000 series aluminum frame with a polycarbonate back. HMD Global says the device is splash-proof with IP52 ratings, this invariably means splashing water against the device from any direction shall have no harmful effect.


The Nokia 2 features a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 212 Mobile Platform with Adreno 304 GPU. For the storage aspect, the device comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.

It will run Android Nougat out of the box and will be upgraded to Android 8.0 oreo soonest; and definitely with an impressive 4100mAh battery capacity. For the camera department, specs include a 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash, a 5MP front-facing camera and full connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS / GLONASS.
