Microsoft has a Dream.Build.Play challenge that is open to all African game developers. The challenge seeks to maximize their creativity and create experiences that engage gamers from across the world.
The second is the PC game category ($50,000), and it involves building a Windows 10 game.
Finally, you have the mixed reality game category — creating a mixed reality game experience that lets players interact with 3D volumetric content in a virtual space —and Console game category building a UWP game for the Xbox One console family. They both have a prize money of $50,000 and $25,000 respectively.
The competition is open to all creators, working solo or in teams of up to seven.

It’s divided into 4 categories:
First, you have the cloud-powered game category which has the highest prize money ($100,000). In this category, the developers must build a creative game that uses Azure Cloud Services on the back-end.
