Meet Google Ice 2 Smartphone Cost N13,000 Launched in Nigeria

The Ice 2 Freetel is not a Google smartphone, but Google partnered with a Japanese smartphone brand TD Mobile, to launch the smartphone in Nigeria dubbed as Freetel Ice 2. Google made mention of Ice 2 Freetel at Google for Nigeria programme and promised that the ice 2 Freetel smartphone will be launched in Nigeria. In fulfillment to Google promise, the Ice 2 freetel smartphone is now available for purchase in Nigeira and the current price of the Ice 2 freetel is N13,000.

The smartphone has been launched in Nigeria and its Google GMS certified, meaning that the device meets Google’s performance requirements and properly runs Google Apps. Also in partnership with MTN and comes pre-loaded with MTN’s latest apps including MTN Music Plus.

In addition, all customers who buy the device will enjoy double data bonus on every data bundle they buy for three months

The device is also pre-loaded with World reader’s free e-library of 50,000 e-books – an app that enables Nigerians to read their favorite book at no cost.
