Google Chrome browser is a popular free application developed by Google for accessing the internet while Notepad is a generic text editor included with all versions of Microsoft Windows that allows you to create, open, and read plain text files.

How To Use Google Chrome as Notepad

  • All you have to do is copy and paste this single line of code into your browser’s URL bar:

  • data:text/html, <html contenteditable>
  • Tap Enter key.
  • Start typing by Clicking on the blank tab window that shows up.

Hurray!! Your Google Chrome browser can now be uses as a notepad and also as a web browser.
