The Algerian Government Blocks Social Media After Baccalaureate Exam Questions Leak Online

Baccalaureate is a school-leaving examination that qualifies the successful candidates for entrance to university, just like WAEC.

According to Reuters:
the Algerian Government has blocked access to Facebook, Twitter and 3G services after Baccalaureate exam papers leaked on social media. 
Although they are not the first to take such a decision, the Algerian Government says that the decision to block social media was taken to protect students 
de la publication of  “bogus questions on those networks”

Asides from the blockage, More than 555,000 students in the North African nation are having to retake their exams as a result of the leak.
